Video Resume Tools Compared
There are two kinds of tools for a video resume: ones built for job seekers, and general video tools you can bend into one. Here’s how six options compare on the things that matter when you’re applying: video length, cost, and what the person hiring sees when they open your link.

Which one fits you
- You want to apply to jobs inside one app: CazVid is a job board where your video goes with each one-tap application.
- You want several versions for different roles: MyIntro lets you build up to 10 tailored profiles. Reslink’s free plan includes 2 Reslinks.
- You want to know who watched: Reslink Premium lists viewer insights and watch time. Loom lists viewer insights on its free Starter plan.
- You just need a link to a video, free: a YouTube unlisted video works. There’s no resume page around it, so put your name, job, and city in the title and description.
- You want a one-page video resume employers can also find on a map by job title and city: that’s what Seenly is built for.
Where Seenly fits (and where it doesn’t)
Seenly is built for people who are better in person than on paper, especially in trades, healthcare, and office jobs. You answer five prompts (edit them, drop some, or add your own), record or upload one short video, and get one page with your video, titles, and city.
- Good fit: you want one simple link, a short script to follow (there’s a free script writer with a teleprompter), and to be findable on the talent map.
- Not a fit: you want a free public link (going live needs Pro), several different profiles, viewer tracking, or to apply to jobs inside the app. Seenly’s Find Jobs page links out to job boards instead.

FAQ
What is the best free video resume tool?
It depends on what you need. CazVid is free for job seekers. Reslink has a $0 plan with up to 2 Reslinks. A YouTube unlisted video is free but has no resume page around it. Seenly’s draft is free, but a public link needs Pro.
Can I use Loom for a video resume?
Yes. Loom’s free Starter plan records up to 5 minutes per video, which is plenty. It’s a general recording tool, so there’s no resume page with your job titles and city.
Is an unlisted YouTube video private?
Not exactly. Anyone with the link can watch and reshare it. It won’t show in YouTube search or on your channel’s Videos tab, unless someone adds it to a public playlist.
How long should a video resume be?
60 to 90 seconds works for most jobs. CazVid’s format is 30 seconds; Seenly takes one video up to 2 minutes.
